- A 27-floor tower on HaMitmad Street in place of two older buildings
- The building at 8 Bialik Street will be strengthened and expanded to 23 apartments
- The plan is at the objections stage and is not a building permit
The building at 8 Bialik Street, which has 21 apartments, will not be demolished. It will be strengthened and expanded, and will include 23 apartments on about eight floors. In total there will be 114 apartments in the compound, an addition of 65 apartments.
On the ground floor of the tower, a built public space is planned, which will be registered in the name of the Netanya Municipality. Its use has not yet been determined.
The local planning and building committee approved the plan for deposit in May 2026. According to the planning databases, its status was updated on October 13, and the deposit notice was updated later that same week. It is important to know that a deposit is not a building permit. No date has yet been published for demolition or the start of construction, and the plan still has to go through a hearing on objections and final approval. During the deposit period, anyone who considers themselves harmed by the plan may file an objection.
